What we were told as young ladies was not our fault. It was not a reflection of us by any means and was most definitely a reflection of the ones who were telling us. "Don't wear that, you look too fast." "We are having company, cover up." "Stop switching and walking like you grown." Like what? This is the start of the sexual trauma that we experienced. It was from the people that thought they were helping but instead creating wounds for us to then deal with in adulthood.
